Delta Family & Friends
Responsible for coordinating activities of the Delta Mothers & Friends and provide assistance of Delta Duds.
International Awareness & Involvement
Responsible for keeping the Chapter abreast of ongoing issues related to our African-American heritage abroad.
Jabberwock
Major fund-raising event; Responsible for coordinating activities with the objective to make contributions to the community (college scholarships and community outreach).
Physical & Mental Health
Responsible for promoting good physical and mental health of Deltas and the community in accordance with Grand Chapter’s current initiatives.
Program Planning & Development
Responsible for planning and coordinating projects fostering community services and economic development, including Delta Academy, GEMS, Joy Woodfork Beauty Salon, Community Market Festival, Teen Town Hall, and Project SEE.
Social Action
Responsible for keeping Chapter members informed of current national and local issues; plans and implements activities that encourage proactive political awareness and readiness.
Scholarship & Education Support
Responsible for selecting the scholarship recipient(s) and creating procedures to be used in awarding all scholarships. To implement other educational initiatives as mandated by Grand Chapter or as deemed necessary by the chapter.
